I have been part of the Leeds Autism AIM project since the start in December 2014. Since then, I have done all sorts of information work for them. This includes:

  • Building, maintaining and updating the Leeds Autism AIM website – http://leedsautismaim.org.uk/
  • A quarterly newsletter
  • Running the Facebook and Twitter accounts
  • Posters, flyers, leaflets and banners
  • Guides and personalised resources for service users
  • Autism alert cards
  • Maps to their weekly drop-in venue
  • Peer support and light peer advocacy

Everything produced has been done so with accessibility in mind. Use of simple language, sensitive colour schemes and clear fonts have all helped to make the service successful.
